Sindarella - welcome and congrats on your BFP.

My partner and I had been together for 7 years before I had started "considering" a pregnancy.

It was also a bit of a pressured moment as I felt we had hit a cross-roads. He had wanted us to have a baby for 7 years, and I was no where near ready/keen/interested in a baby.

I was 29 at the time, and firmly committed to life of me, a book, and a bottle of wine, and no kids - that is sort of how I saw it.

Congrats on the BFP, congrats on this huge step, and it is okay to feel apprehensive, a bit terrified (a lot terrified), somewhat ambivalent and well every emotion in the world, and that is before lunch.

Moomies has a lot of women, who ended up as moms through various circumstance, and though we may not all be "hooray let's talk about what colour my baby's poop is" you will find a group/click/set of Moomies that feed your soul.
