Yes, anesthetist was covered 100%. Also all the costs for the pediatrician during delivery and check-ups during your stay in the hospital (pediatrician checks baby every day). An audiologist sees the baby around the 2/3rd day, that was also fully covered.

The only shortfall was basically Dr W.

I'm also with Dr Wypkema, I'm on the Classic Delta Saver Plan (which pays 200% of medical aid tariff). You're right that the hospital-part for a c-section is fully covered, but there is a shortfall on the dr's fee for delivery. She'll give you a quote closer to your due date, but for my delivery (1st week in Sept) the portion that we have to pay her cash is R3600.

That said, this is my 2nd delivery with her and I knew the costs behorehand from past experience. I wouldn't change doctors for anything, she's worth every cent.
