I'm mum to 2 lovely angels...my 28 month old daughter and 8 month old little boy...

Sounds like he is almost there.

Are you a stay at home mom? I wish I could stay at home with mine, but luckily he is staying with his grandma during the day and is getting spoiled rotten.

Mine is also smashing his face and it is heartbreaking He recently started sliding backwards which frustrates him endlessly! I'm trying to get him to be more confident on his hands and knees. Hopefully we'll succeed soon. Fingers crossed...

Not really, he doesn't want to be in the arms anymore so made a play area on the floor with duvets and pillows and scattered his toys around. He started rolling, then did the whole bum in the air nose to the ground thing which was quite funny except he smashed his face a few times ( the crying broke my heart) next thing we know he is leopard crawling and Monday evening he started crawling.

Oh, I know the feeling. Mine isn't crawling yet. We are still practising. Did you do anything extra for your boy to get the hang of crawling?

Yes he is. And he has just started crawling. My boy is such a busy little guy it is sometimes exhausting, but then he smiles and all is forgotten.
