Linkwood hospital

So I did not birth at Linkwood, for there was no beds in the Neonatal ICU available and had to go to Parklane. Which is also an excellent hospital, just very far from my house. Turned out my son had a very low birth weight, 1.79kg and had to stay in the ICU. So good that we went to Parklane.

Hopefully one day we will have a response from some one who did birth here.

I have not yet birthed at Linkwood, but I am planning to birth there by the end of August. So you will be able to share your story.

I have had friends (not on the forum) tht had birthed there. And they had fast different experiences.

I was there today and looked at the rooms and the staff seems very friendly. I am opting for a natural delivery with a midwife.

for now i do have a doula and she is great, i will be meeting with my Gynie on Thursday to find out if i can go ahead and meet with with the midwife
