C-section and sterilisation - experiences?

Maries I'm due in August, so you will be before me

I probably will have it done, my doc has already put me down for it, just hearing all these crazy stories...even about somebody ending up in ICU!! Of course you hear the worst case stories!

I had it done, and to be honest it was no different than the other two c-sections. I would just have it done, then it is over and done.

When are you due?

I will probably have the csection at the end of June. Will definitely let you know....

I have a friend who has done it, she said it's only sore for the first day but then bearable after that. I think I rather deal with the one day of pain and take the pain meds more frequently on the first day.

I am tempted to google, but scared of what I might find...

Yes same here, 3rd and last. I was planning to do the same, but have asked on another forum and some of the experiences don't sound so good. Wondering if hubby should just rather have the vasectomy at this stage. lol

I'm planning to tie my tubes with my csection in June. I have heard that it is sore but bearable. I need to do it regardless of whether it's sore or not... This is my third and last baby.

Are you planning on doing the same?
