Hi...finally went for my first consultation at fertility specialist. Starting IUI from next cycle. Excited and anxious. Checked my tubes today as well and everything is fine.

Hi MsR . Just thought I let you know - the netcare pharmacy at St Augustines & Dischem Galleria Mall are always stocked up on Gonal F injections. But you prob not going to need it again cos this procedure is going to work this time

Hey Daisy, Dischem had to order the injections for me. They do not always stock it. So just take that into account. Waiting period was 1 day. So not bad.
I think cd8 or 9 is a bit late to start meds. So maybe u will start from the next cycle.
IUI #1 was a fail for me. Dr has now asked me to do 1 more cycle with fertomid and IUI. I have my CD12 apt on Friday. This cycle I'm also doing traditional Chinese healing in the form of acupressure and dry cupping.
I also started taking CoQ10 which is meant to help with egg quality.
If IUI #2 is a fail then the Dr wants me to undergo a laprascopy to determine what's going on. I'm hoping it doesn't have to get to that point and #2 is a lucky 1 for us.

Thanks MSR! This really helps me...so confusing and stressing out as to what FS is going to say. Our first appt only 13 Feb and when I count my days, I will probably be on CD 8 or 9 already. I assume he will probably put me on meds from the next cycle? So as to do the Gonal F injections etc?
