Thanks Char... I just don't get why people simply feel the need to go on and on and on and on... Wow my ORIGINAL POST was not about religion I am going to shut up now, cause obviously whatever I say, will be turned around to sound offensive.

I think since the first incident on Friday everyone is trying to pick a fight or just take things the wrong way...

As with all religions there are members who are stricter than others but to call it a cult or compare it to satanism is completely ridiculous and offensive. I'm sorry if your friend had a bad experience but there are thousands of other JWs that are lovely people. Just like you can't blame all Muslims for 9/11. To make sweeping statements about a faith based on one person's experiences when you have clearly not done any actual unbiased research into it is really offensive and unjust EP. I'm not JW but I have family that is and I promise you they are all very ordinary people.

One of the greatest things about our country is the freedom to speak to our god or gods as we choose without the fear of recrimination from others. I think it is really sad that there are obviously people so, I'm sorry to say, backwards minded that they reject a faith and it's people out of hand without first finding out who they are and what they stand for.
