So sorry Tamsyn!!!
Does the doc have any idea what might have caused the MC?
I can imagine how you must feel. It's only a little ball of cells at that point but you are already attached, only a mom/ mom-to-be can understand.
I bled as well at 17 weeks and when we arrived at the hospital I was told it was an "inevitable MC" and I'd have to get a D&C done after the baby came out. (the casualty doc who saw me 1st was SO unfriendly!she was like "MAM,DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TELLING YOU!?

)I was soooooooo sad and shocked and hysterical! Everyone kept saying "you can have another one, as long as u are ok etc etc etc" I kept saying/wailing "But I want THIS one!!!" It's really VERY emotional and I found that ppl didn't really understand. Luckily for me, my gynae was called in, gave me stuff to stop the bleeding and the next morn, he put in Shirodkar sutures (they basically sew the cpening to the cervix shut so baby doesn't come out)
Point is, in those horiffic few hours, I had a really good glimpse of what it feels like to lose your baby so I understand what you must be going through. Will be thinking about you, and praying that your heart may heal asap so u can move onto the business of getting another BFP asap!
