We are home at last!!!
Kaylee was discharged this morning only 6 days after her surgery - usual recovery is 7-10 days.
We went for an ECG before leaving the hospital and the cardiologist is happy with the results, and cautiously optimistic that it wont happen again. He wont say 100% because depending how the scar tissue grows there is a small chance it could happen again, but if it does he would be able to insert a baloon via catheterisation rather than doing the full surgery.
But right now we are trusting the Lord to keep her healing such that the scar tissue doesnt grow in such a way that causes re-narrowing and that this is the last of the operations she has to worry about!
She will be on BP meds for a while until her body regulates back to a low BP again. But otherwise only on pain meds and I'll be giving her a multivit again.
Poor baby, vocal cords seem to have been bruised probably from the pipes down her throat, so it may take up to 8 weeks for her voice to return to normal

But otherwise she's happy and smiling away and happy to be home!
What an awesome anniversary present for us
