Ai ai. It just never stops. My worry is that I have this super painful gas and once I let it out, I am still super uncomfortable. A normal person would let it all out and feel some relief but nooooooooooo not a pregnant woman.

Regarding constipation my doctor prescribed Agiolax to take before bed. It works because your stomach becomes a little lose and you are able to do number 2. But once you stop, the stomach also freezes.

One can never win, honestly.

Yes, nix I agree. I went on this almost only veggie and fibre diet hoping it would help and it was it its worst then!! I now follow a much more balanced diet and just make sure I have at least 2 liters of water per day.
Too much meat is hard to digest, so limit the portions of meat. Some people also find that cutting out dairy helps (I do).

I agree with you Gloei, I have a sensitive gut like that. I can't eat just any fibre, wheat bran is a bad idea for me so no bran flakes etc. One should try to eat more soluble fibre (Google it) and drink plenty of water. Even veggies can be a problem if you over do it. I have been eating more fruit than veg so far, just haven't had the stomach for veg. That seems to be ok.

I share your "pain". I actually found when I increased my fibre too much the gas would be much worse! I have read about the "fibre" trap on the internet that states if one suddenly increases fibre significantly it can cause havoc. Perhaps try and follow a balance?

Yup it's normal, my tummy actually gets bigger towards the end of the day! I don't have any remedy for it as I doubt there is one...just part of the parcel :)

lol it's completely normal, everything making way for the baby, as they often say "no one, can out fart a pregnant woman"

keep up with the fibre, the bloating and gas will get better by second trimester but tend to come back in the last one when little space for baby.
