I bought the carriwell, and did not like them.
I bought the triumph ones (with lace at the bottom) and loved them! This was 3 years back now, but will definitely be buying triumph ones this time around as well.
They were not stretchy so they provided support i needed. and they kept their shape, even after 18months!

I would suggest having more than 2, nothing dried during winter when my LG was born, and if you leak, you probably wear more than 1 a day.

Thank you for the info ladies! completely forgot to check back here since I' not receiving notifications  Two more weeks and then I'll go fit a couple - need to be properly fitted anyway as I have NO idea what size I am now  Thank you for the info Karmie! I bought a few really comfy T-Shirt bras at Woolies at the beginning of my pregnancy and might consider taking them to Storm in a G Cup! Though I suspect the cup size might be a little too small by now.

Hi BumbleBee

If you are based in Cape Town you can also convert your regular bras to feeding bras at a fraction of the price (R30 per bra) at Storm in a G Cup.

I tend to agree with the carriwell bras being a little unsupportive, for me personally at least. As they were soft, I used my carriwell bras to sleep in to keep those boobies from flopping around the place and keep the breast pad in place for the first month or so until my milk supply stabilised.

Other than that, I still wear my triumph nursing bras. They also have a slight padding, which is great to contain small leaks as pointed out by liefie.

Happy shopping!

Hi There

I also bought Cariwell and Woolies (ended not using the expensive Cariwell one) and I am pregnant again
and still wear my woolies ones from last time! hehehe so will definitely be buying some woolies ones again this time around.

My suggestion would be go fit the woolies ones and see if they are comfortable for you.

Oh I also liked that my woolies ones are slightly padded so should you leak a little it does not show on your shirt immediately

x

Thank you ladies! Will try a few and see. Imagine I would need more than 2? (the nurse said to get minimum 2), so maybe I could buy a pack of each and see how it goes (after fitting) since I'll be wearing them (hopefully) for a couple of years.

I breastfed my son for 3 years and always wore the Woolies ones and was perfectly happy with them. But everyone is different, so try a few on and see which feels the most comfy for you.

Hi Bumblebee

I have tried the Woolies ones on and for me they were terrible. The material was a bit too hard and I did not like the straps :( I bought myself the Carriwell nursing/feeding bra with the back clip extension piece. They are pricey but I highly recommend it and I am definitely going to buy another. It is a really good fit, nice and comfortable material and gives me the best support. Also I love the idea that as my torso expands I can adjust the bra size with the extension piece.

But I think the best thing to do is try some brands on and see what you like.
