Hi girls

Cant really chat.

K had her 6 month Ecg today and the news isnt good.

The scar tissue around the patch has grown in a way that creates the same problem again just in a different position.
So on Tuesday she is going for a catheter inspection so they can take a look at what they need to do to fix it (and at the same time investigate the other problem and make sure its okay for now) and on Thursday she will probably go for the same op she had when she was born.
My heart is broken. She is doing so well physically and dr was so impressed, that he couldnt believe that something was wrong until he actually checked it closely. He could not pick up her BP on her legs, nor her pulse and her blood pressure is very high because of the pressure to pump blood. So now she is on blood pressure medication until they can do the operation.

And now she fell off the couch and hit her head on the hard floor.
I feel like the worst mom in the world.
So waiting for geoff to get home so we can take her to the ER.
This day is just too much.

I dont know what else to say. Just enjoy every second with your babies, even when they are crying and not sleeping. I would give anything not to lose her.

Re those fresh food things it doesnt stop the mess - at least not with watermelon or mango. But its fun.

too cute man! So shes already keeping secrets? Kaelyn can sit too, its just a matter of wanting to. And of course if mommy is around to hold her why should she... lol

I gave my little one a frozen cube of butternut... and did she enjoy it!

I want to get her one of those fresh food feeder thingies this weekend to minimise the mess a little though

Ok, so either I am the worst mom in the world, or I have a manipulative almost 6 months old baby girl!

I just caught on that my child can sit!!!!!!

I suspected it for a while, but each time I tried to test her, she'd throw a strop, then I'd leave it. Well, now that I caught her out, I've been testing her, little missy can take things and play with them while sitting on the bed with no cushion or support near her! When she sees she's not being supported she throws her back stiff to fall backwards. Or refuses to go into a sitting position at all.

Argh and we have a runny tummy, probably from the teething. FYI, no toofies yet.

Abby's got her Valentine's ball tonight, and we still need to go get her something to wear!

There is just no rest! However me and Iz had a lekker swim this morning. She loves the water.

Yesterday I had to cook dinner, and Iz just wasn't letting me do anything, so I emptied a packet of Flings on her walking ring tray. (I saw my friend do it with her boykie) and she kept herself so busy with that Flings, picking them up and sucking on them! It was a total mess, but she had such a blast. Didn't choke once. And I haven't given her much biscuits or anything to chew on yet. Or I put a 500ml frozen waterbottle on her tray, which she plays with. It keeps her really busy, and she sucks on it from all angles. I think it soothes her eina gums a lot!

thanks hun, trying to figure out the finger foods... Will definitely do that.

Cols, I personally, would not give Marie Biscuits just yet. I would rather pack in one of the baby biscuits and ask them to rather give him that.

Thanks Charnenay, at school apparently they give him a marie biscuit. I got him animal shaped "marie biscuits" yesterday. They dont seem sweet. Actually less sweet than marie biscuits. I got him finger biscuits as well but they tasted too sweet. So I wont be giving them to him.

I will try get some purity teething biscuits and the rusks today.
