Hey ladies!
Congrats to Liani and Naikza!!!!! Enjoy your LO's - so exciting!!!!
Mina - good luck for tomorrow, will be thinking of you. Post some pics as soon as you have a chance to.
Well, little Emily has been on the tiny side all along and at my last appointment, she was only weighing 2.5KG's and dr predicted a birth weight of 2.9KG's. Well, guess what, 2 weeks later, she is 3.25KG's!!!! Went for my last appt. yesterday and that was her weight - I could not believe it - dh says it's all the Milo I have been drinking

Her face is soooo chubby, all you see on the ultrasound are cheeks!!!

sooooooooo cute!!
Doc explained the c-sec procedure in detail yesterday and I think the nerves started getting the better of me - soon as I got home, I was throwing up and running to the loo every few minutes!!! Feeling better today, and trying not to think too much about the "procedure". I felt much better when dh got home from work yesterday, so I think it was just nerves and my imagination running wild. I keep thinking that something is going to happen to either Emily or I

- not good thoughts, I know
Well, have to be at the hospital at 7AM on Monday morning. I am second on the list for the day and the first one goes in at 10.30AM - so I guess, I will be an hour or so later. Was very happy when dr told me that she inserts the catheter herself and that she only does it after the spinal block has taken - YEAH!!!! I was a bit worried about that because I know the nurses sometimes do it when they are doing the prep and I have been told it can be quite uncomfortable.
So, just done baking strawberry muffins now - stood in the kitchen for an hour and now I am drained. It is DH's last day at work tomorrow and then he is on 3 weeks leave and he called me this morning to say that "the guys" have decided that he needs to bring in something baked for his last day at work!!! I spoilt them with chocolate brownies and banana loaf last week, so now they know I can bake! OOPS!! Well, won't be much baking happening with a newborn baby for a while, so I figured I could spoil them one last time. But now I still have to cook and so don't feel like going back into the kitchen again.
That's it from me - ladies, be sure to get some rest - I know that's easier said than done thanks to these lovely bellies in the way
