Girly, essentials that I bought (bear in mind this is my idea of "essentials", and not all of them really are essential :) :

Girly - work is quiet for me right now, so I have lots of time on my hands to plan, etc :)

Hospital Bag for baby:
I know they give you a little goodie bag at the hospital, but I decided to pack my own things anyway.

Toiletries(I got the little miniatures for the hospital bag so they fit nicely into the toiletry bag:
J&J Top to Toe Wash
Baby Oil for massage
Unscented Aqueous cream (since I don't know if she will have sensitive skin
Bennets Bum Creme
Wet Wipes
Glycerine and nappy liners to clean her tongue
Surgical Spirits and cotton wool balls
Ear buds (baby safety ones)
Nappies (I only packed about 15 in her bag, so DH can replenish as we need since we are only 5 minutes away from hospital)

Clothes:
I packed 6 different complete outfits into ziploc bags (idea from Julz), including vests, socks etc.
Also packed a fleece all -in-one to put over her clothes for coming home in
Extra leggings, growers, vests, etc just in case
3 Blankets - I figure DH can bring more if she messes
Towelling nappies to use for feeding time

Girly, not being in her room and having everything infront of me, I'm sure I missed a few items off this list though......

Charnenay you're one organised girl! At least this way you can relax the rest of the time.
Would you mind sending across a list of things you've bought as essentials? And what's in your hospital bag?
I have no clue where to start. If not for some very helpful friends I'd be totally lost!

Blessed what a lovely tummy you have!
Yea getting back to gym is really nice! But just be careful what exercises you'll do.

M2M interesting that these are the names you'd had first time round too. What are you leaning towards?
So sweet of Jadon. Really nice when they can be a part of it.
My godchild on the weekend, kept rubbing my tummy asking where the baby is and why cant she see her. Was proud to say that she was once also a little baby girl but now she's a big girl. She'll be 4 in August. So sweet.

Here is my new haircut. I so dont like taking photo's!

charenenay - wow girl? you are organised! i only started going through the stuff i have - form previous pregnancy hehehe...but time flying quick now. DH compiled a lil list yesterday of the things we still need to do - HAHA that is everything

and we started with our name search....and we are kinda stuck on William and Liam. AND that was the same name we were playing with when we were expecting Jadon... we found our 'old' name list we compiled back then.

girly - congrats to your friend!! wow so many p-faries!

and i need to add, my lil boy started 'noticing/realising' that baby's on the way. he even tried to feed the LO with his small bottle through my belly button hehehe and he call LO 'boetie baba' or 'maatjie baba' - i just love my kids!!!!!!
