Where is everyone??

Hi Ladies
Hope you all had a lovely weekend

I need help please!!!!
D's party is on Sun and I'm struggling!
FIL is doing the savouries, my mom & I are doing the sweet treats (thankfully the cake is sorted)

Need some more ideas for party snacks (date balls, ice cream cone clowns....
Also what drinks do I have? Was going to do punch - but do I serve wine?
Would people be offended if I only have soft drinks?


But there will be 2 year olds, 4 year olds, 6 year olds and 8 year olds - what on earth do I do activity-wise??!!
DH & I bought D a trampoline for her b'day (10 foot one with safety net around it) and we have a park
with jungle gym, swings etc across the road - but if the weather is not great...

DH does not want to spend any more than is necessary, so hiring someone to do face-painting/magician
etc is out of the question
Or am I being paranoid?

Hi Ladies
Hope you all had a great weekend (and Women's Day)
I spent the last 5 days packing up my old house (by myself!!) and unpacking the new house
I'm exhausted!!!
D was at my Mom and MIL from Wed til Sun (which helped alot) and we all spent our first night
in our new house last night
I bought D a new single bed but kept her old cot in the new room as well as I thought she would
need something familiar (not a new bed in a new room in a new house) but last night she refused
to sleep in her cot (she said No, sleep big bed!)
I'm so tired, but soooo loving my new big house!! (D and our dogs love running around in the big
back garden)
will post some pics as soon as we are completely settled in

Jealous of all the snow - we just had torrential downpours and hale (which was certainly NOT fun
for moving house!)

Well, sorry Kerry for the stupid AF's arrival!

@JB, congrats on the job offer!!!!

@Flower...awesome party!!!!!

Abs danced Eistedfodd the past week, so things have been hectic. She danced 4 Gold and 4 Silver.

Grace did well in athletics, and Iz have also been sicky, bad throat infection and tonsilitis, had to rush her to ER saturday night. She is much better now, and the good thing is, with the sore throat she is completely off the dummy all by herself!!! #happymommydance#.

Now I get to focus on the party....eish! We off to Durban after work for some birthday shopping, coming back tomorow night, in time for my mom's 60th birthday day out.

Actually supposed to be in class tomorow but I'm bunking!

I have joined the gym....gonna get rid of this fat ass for once. But a friend and I got man handled by a personal trainer on Wednesday. walking is painful, sitting is painful, lying down is painful. No pain no gain!

My girls are gymming with me, so it's actually great fun.

Oh flower, geez how I wish my party was half as organized as Em's...

Hi Ladies

Quickly popping in at work.

Going hectic at home - Willem seems to be trying to cut the his back molars.
The gums were quite swollen 2 weeks ago, but back to normal now, and still no tooth...
BUT - in the process, he decided that midnight to 4am is a GREAT time to be awake - for 2 weeks running. Needless to say, we are a bit tired... We went so far as to move his bed back into our room, for now.

DH got a new PC, but now he can't get the settings right that would allow me to use the internet . So I have to beg him each time I want to go online!!

Other than that, things are going fine by us. Willem LOVED the holiday with his grandparents. Still wouldn't go anywhere near the waves, but loved the sand and rock pools

His party is in 2 weeks time (19th), and I'm doing a train theme - Willem LOVES "choo choo's". Drove his grandparents crazy on holiday - the flat was next to the rail track.

Kerry, you call that snow?


We had LOADS of snow at the office, but not so much at home.
Willem ran around SO much in it, his Oupa couldn't even take a video clip - he couldn't keep up with him . And he refused to go back inside
