Sorry for your loss. I could not imagine having to go through something like that.

Also sorry for only responding now. We have had guests from overseas so I have not had a chance to get online.

I have decided to stay with DR Breeds. I am comfortable with him, which I thinks is important. Thanks for your input though.

natsb, as you can see i lost my son 9 months ago when i was 5 months pregnant... Dr Breeds picked up the problem at 17 weeks pregnant, so to cut a long story short, we had to go see professors in Pretoria and not even the Professors could save my baby...

Dr Breeds however went on leave for 3 weeks and i couldn't carry my baby for so long, so while he was away i had to see another gynae and just as well i found Dr Brune and we had to do a c-section immediately... I had to terminate my pregnancy...

And we have been trying to fall pregnant again since we lost Liam and i feel cos Dr Brune did the c-section, he's knows the background/history of the last pregnancy, so we've been trying now for 10 months and Dr Brune is helping us fall pregnant, so im just happy to stay with him...

I am very central to Kempton Park/Benoni/Boksburg, so I am willing to look at any of the hospitals in the area.
May I ask why you changed gynaes Hayley?

Ok, the reason i asked was cos i go to a gynae in Kempton Park, Dr Brune he is absolutely fantastic, really happy with him... Miss going to Dr Breeds but i've decided i will stick with Dr Brune.. And he therefore only delivers at Arwyp Hospital..

Sorry to answer your question Hayley I am not set on only going to Sunward. So I am open to suggestions.

Hayley to be honest I have gone to Dr Breeds for my annual check ups and have been quite happy. The reason why I am thinking about considering changing gynaes is that I have heard that he has had some bad deliveries? I have also only heard this stories from " people who know people " and thought I would do my own research first before changing.
Maybe I should also find out if he does only do C-sections as I am not sure where I stand on Natural/ C-section yet? We have been trying to conceive for 5 months and thought if I am going to change it might be a good idea to do it before we do fall pregnant.

Dr Breeds delivered my daughter 2 yrs ago and he is a brilliant gynae... Im not to sure about him just doing c-sections, i opted for a c-section as i scared of going natural... Give him a try...
