Dizziness / numbness

Christie - The numbness is upper body like arms and stuff thats why I am puzzled. but thx I will chat to gynae

I had numbness in my right leg from about 20 weeks. Gynae said it was due to baby pushing on nerves in my back, but I didn't have it all the time, mostly it started when I walked a lot.

I would say speak to your doc about it cause I dont think your baby is big enough to be pushing on nerves etc yet.

Yip it's from the increased blood volume. Just mention the numbness.

Drink more water too for the low bp. xx

Dizziness - makes sense now thanks. I have low blood pressure.

I have the numbness (pins and needle sensation first) in my thighs in the morning. Gynae says it's not anything to worry about and also due to blood flow. I only started getting it about 20-22 weeks though. You should rather check with your gynae just to be sure

The dizziness could be as a result of increased blow flow which then sometimes results in low blood pressure / dizziness.

however the numbness i'm not so sure about. Perhaps you should mention it to your doctor. When are you going for your first check-up? If you haven't booked a gynae appointment yet then perhaps you should just ask your GP in the meantime to make sure evreything is ok.
