Fertomid...best time to drink?

Hi ladies

I just took my 1st tablets of fertomid 50mg, and its my 1st round. Been ttc for just over a year now with extremely irregular cycles ranging from 21 - 40 days. Came off the pill last year March.
Mind if I join for this exciting but anxious journey?

Hi ladies

Did anyone have any success with Fertomid? I am taking my last dose of Provera tomorrow as I dont get periods due to me not ovulating. Will hopefully get a period then I will be on Fertomid for 5 days starting on cycle day 3. I have to get preggy fast as I have extremely high familial cholesterol and need to get onto meds for that asap.

I also have heard Clomid/feromid is dangerous. Maybe try Pregnancytechniques.com instead

I was also put on Fertomid for a 3 month cycle. Although i was only on 25mg and it did wonders for my eggs... but the side effects where a bit much.

I had incredible "sinus headaches"without actually having a sinus problem - i think that was my main problem while taking the 5 day course. However the real moods only hit me in the 2 days following the course, maybe that's when they kick in fully?

I found that i had bad pain in my sides during ovulation and even bled a little, I also had REALLY heavy periods and I was in so much pain, I took the day off school as i could barely walk. (Im a teacher)

After two months of that, i called it quits. I just couldnt anymore.

DH says I was moody throughout the month... but in the end it's his word against mine!

OH! what i was meant to say is.... i found that taking them at night just before bed, and drinking 2L of water during the day, helped my "sinus headaches"alot!

Dang and I already took it this morning!!! Oh well, so far so good!

I took mine at night just before I went to bed and the only side effect I had was the hot flushes. DH says I was extra moody but I don't think so. But I was only on 50mg and we all know every woman's body reacts differently. Also try to take it at more or less the same time every day.

Thx Julz. Gynea prescribed it and he also said he will only do it for 3 cycles. He wanted to see me after easter weekend but we are away on holiday.

He did warn me about the side effects so it seems whether I drink it morning or night I am going to have the crappy side effects anyways! Hehe! What we wont do to have kids!! *sigh*
