Hi ladies. I've been watching this thread but never got around to posting.

I, too, was trying for a BFP this Jan.

Af was due last Sunday 22 Jan. I had done abt 10 HPT's in the few days leading up to Sunday and ALL negative. I was really shattered.

Then yesterday at 3 days late, did an early detection HPT and it was positive. Well, did 2 and both positive...

I haven't since gone back and tried a normal HPT. Is that normal? Why only detectable on early-detection pregnancy test??? when it's 3 days past af was due?

I know I should be super excited but I'm too nervous to be excited yet.

Hayley have you gotten the urologist results yet? I really hope there is a way forward that will result in some good news soon!

Looks like my O time is the same time as K's op next month so wont be testing in Feb. Also dont really want to conceive in March cos that would mean a December baby, so probably only pick it up in April again.

BTW Any romantic plans for V-Day? It's our 9yr anniversary then so we do a combined thing. Bought a groupon breakfast voucher for R49 yesterday at a place in town. Thought we needed an outing for once.

Shame nixie. Just hang in there. Might be a chemical pregnancy, might be an off cycle caused by illness or stress or might be a delayed implantation resulting in late testing. Wait a few days and test again.
