Memo my son was like this - he had colic. The homeopath was eventually the only thing that helped.

I would start with a chiro - they arent as expensive as a paed and often do help a lot.

How old is she?

Shame man I know with Cameron I was a total zombie :( Its not fun.

Or both? lol. No they havent yet. The nurse that weighs her said that she should give her some rice porridge.. I nearly had a mini stroke as Im a delayed solids person. I also dont like nurses or peads giving diet advice.. But that another story as I have a fear of docs in general.
Blompotjie would you suggest a pead over a physio. I dont think they can really afford to see a pead and then be refered elsewhere, if you know what I mean.
I also asked if her ears are fine and she said yes.

good to hear that its normal for the first few months to be special-crazy (I like that term :)) I'm a first-time mom with a 7-week old - its the most amazing experience ever but have absolutely NO free time to do the basics. Also been under a LOT of pressure from friends and family to go out/have people over. Hard to say 'no' sometimes. Spend a lot of time wondering if I am doing everything 'right'. Hmmm...

My Sil is having a super hard time with her little girl at the moment. She pretty much only sleeps for 20 minutes and then wakes up screaming and they need to start all over settling her.
If she has a 1 hour nap they get over the moon excited.. basically that super unusual.
Is this normal? Shame I've been telling her that the sad reality is that it probably is... lol

Meags - Cameron was not an easy baby. I only remember moments of it but it was not fun at all. I was emotionally and physically exhausted and actually went back to work earlier than planned to escape the chaos!!!

It passes, you forget and do it all again ;)

I hope in a couple of years I can say I dont remember the first 3 months...I know that sounds really bad but they were pure hell and torture for me and I'm still scarred! Granted he's only 5 months now - but I still dont feel like there has been much of an improvement.

So happy your little Jack is an easy one :)
