Teeth usually emerge in a fairly predictable pattern and in pairs, with lowers preceding uppers: First the two bottom front teeth (called the “central incisors”), and about four to eight weeks later the four top front teeth (the “central incisors” and the “lateral incisors”) emerge.

My LB got only 1 of the bottom front teeth and less than 4 weeks after that he got the two top front teeth, within 24 hours. I wonder where the other bottom front tooth is . He also got the first tooth only at 13 months.

Best would be to go to the doctor if it persists, but hope it goes away soon.

I have seen that a bit of baby powder and airing the area helps heat rash to go away.

Thanks Skit. So from that list it sounds like a heat rash. Might be from the jersey I had her in yesterday. I'm still fairly sure she's teething though. Will have to wait and see. :-/

Is a rash at the back of the neck a symptom of teething?

Skitter, dankie, dis baie goeie info daardie! Gotta love there where she says 'wipe away the blood and look at her gums'...ja..I want to see anyone open Mignione's mouth to look at her gums without her screaming the roof off and biting their fingers to bits :silly:

I'm definitely going to try the cold food..I'm sure that will help.
