Hi Tanja - I used to go to school in Kimberly and there were girls in the hostel who lived in Kathu.

I used to go home for weekends with some of the girls, and I went to Kathu once. I also went to Lime Acres a few times, so I feel very "travelled". I think it is the kind of town, you can see in a day!!!

What do you do there?
Did you move there, or did you grow up there?
What is the main industry of the town?
Is it the kind of place you have kids, they go to school and you stay, or do you send kids away to boarding schools when they get to high school?

I am interested in how people adapt to small towns. Is Kathu still a small town?
