So glad that you are officially joining us. You will learn lots and lots about the joys and challenges of motherhood on here and will always get lots of answers whenever you have questions.

Might I suggest you start an adoption thread I'm sure you will come into contact with people on similar journeys. But doesnt mean you cant be active elsewhere on the forum, I need stuff to read at midnight feeds

We are with you every step of the way and cant wait to meet Hannah or Zach

And I'm very pleased that Kaylee has helped make DH broody I dont blame him, she's too cute

Hi there all.

I joined this forum 6 months ago... just have not consider myself "a mother"enough to post here.

I am 24 years old and am currently pursuing adoption. This will be our first child, so I think it is gonna be an interesting (and hopefully not too long) journey.

DH and I have been talking about adopting from about 2 months into our dating relationship... but we did what we thought was normal and tried to have our own first. 3 years and one traumatic IUI later and here we sit at the point of adoption. We meet up with our SW for the first time on 20 May.

I am blessed to have a family around me that will love me and baby, and support our decision, no matter what (i believe).

In the meantime I have been blessed enough to enjoy my niece (Kaylee - Girly's little girl)... which is actually a good thing - coz its made my DH all broody!

So that is my journey so far... as they say "the rest is still unwritten"
