The difference on Moomie is all the posts run on the same "board" if however you start a post you then select a "section" to place it in i.e. I want to talk about Female Masturbation, I think that might be good under "Ladies Corner" and then you go from there.

But the thread subject will appear on the general forum board so I will not have to go to the Ladies Corner to see it.

I personally seldom sort by group and look at a thread, unless I am looking for something specific.

There is a fair amount of swearing - however we usually say thinks like 'F&ck' or 'for f$ck sake' or 'motherf*cker" or "sh&t" for no other reason that if children read then they will be confused by our clever symbols.

I must concede that Julz is correct the Bumbo Chair and Walking Ring debate was quite horrific, and I have blacked it out of my memory.

But seriously there are some wicked clever girls here who make you snort tea on your screen.

But there is enough girls chatting about the colour of their babies poo to make you realise there is a ying and yang in the universe.

For the record no one has brought up the subject of 'female masturbation' yet, so if you really want to get in touch with your "how to alienate people" you might want to take a run at that one.

The other thing I have been always wondering about is we have threads for "Muslim Mommies" and "Black Moomies" possibly called something slightly different and I think there is a "Christian Mommies" thread too, I have been waiting for someone to open a "white mommies who drink a lot" thread - I am sure someone will sh*t themselves.

Anyway, play nicely with everyone, everyone is very nice - but sometimes people can be a bit hormonal (I present Exhibit A).

Ok but nobody throw any lingo at me. I've already seen TTCing and SAHM -wtf do those mean? Trying to conceive? Stay at home mom? Ok you can figure it out, but the whole abbreviation thing makes me super uncomfortable as people seem to be speaking in code...
