Its weird how at one stage there was enough time to chat and do what we wanted to do and them BAM! Work actually started happening and my life dissolved into a little crumpled ball.

I am seriously so happy that things on my side have quietened down just a smidge and that I can breathe!

I am seriously busy at work which is going really well and have actually placed a self ban on internet activity at work as I was a total moomie/fb addict and it was causing issues in my personal life.

Pampers and moomie gave me what I needed when I need it so I still check in on a daily basis and see if there is someone I can help a bit, but I no longer have time to go and research things.

I also think that when you have been doing it for so long (3 years in my case) you do tend to get a bit tired of the same questions and I do not mean to offend anyone especially the new guests and members.

Time for some new blood to step up to the plate and help others.

Oh and then the other thing I must confess is that I can't actually remember what I fed Dylan when and how and when his first tooth arrived or when he started crawling. I have it written down somewhere but I am actually quite useless. If I were to have another baby now I would have to start from scratch. It would be like being a first time mom all over again.

I also still help and chat to some of the members behind the scenes so if anyone has a serious question then drop me a pm and I will answer it within a day or two.

Deja and Misses mom thanks for the site. It is still my safe place where I come when I need to ask something or to chat to some of my buddies.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Hiya All, I have also taken a bit of a break from forums, it was taking over my real-time life. The other thing was I have actually forgotten what the boys were up to a year or 2 ago, so not really able to assist with many of the queries

Decided to log on and see what was going on here when I got the newsletter earlier, so might out my 2c worth in as I read

I for one have to prioritize my time. I feel very much like Marijke. Up until last year I had a 9-5 job, in which I did all my work in a few hours and then had hours to spend on the internet and to put all my energy into Moomie.

Now, I have two kids, I work from home, I am an editor of a magazine, which has to be a success and I do other freelance writing work as well. I also study, which I don't have time for. But it's one of my priorities.

My time is extremely precious. I have to cut my internet time and really focus on my work when I sit in front of my computer.

I wish I could have a stunning blog but I just don't have time. I prefer to spend my time being present in the lives of my kids. Plus I want to be able to have an hour to gym and also sleep enough.

Last night I went to bed at 1am after spending a bit of time on Moomie. I just can't do it anymore, because I have too many things to do in the day.

Moomie is my second baby and I love her to death. It would be a very hard decision to kill Moomie and I really hope we don't have to.

We make just enough money to cover our hosting. Once that advert gets cancelled, Moomie will be done. So we need to keep the numbers up. By sharing our fabulous site, encouraging interaction and chatting.

It's up to the regular users of Moomie. Any ideas are welcome and any help is always welcome.

Let's get Moomie noticed again! She is after all one of the best places to chat in a "private" and "safe" manner.

Well at least this thread is taking off. - Ladies what would you like to see discussed on Moomie? Or any topics? We have a range of provessionals at our beck and call (yes that is how awesome we are) so name it and I'll get someone.

I have made so many wonderful friends one Moomie - my poor DH knows I love it so much he is our webmaster and works late into the night to make sure moomie stays up and running. I love moomie and know I dont chat as often, but will still ask for advice - at 2am I know there are moomies who will always be there to answer my call. That is amazing!

Nicolette you'd be amazed how awesome moomie is compared to the old pampers.
I have gotten to know so many people on here as close and personal friends, its truely special.

I think a lot of people use their work internet to chat on moomie, or their cell phones which isn't as easy to reply. When I was working my last contract job I was on a lot less, at night I barely had time to check posts nevermind reply. Now I'm at home so I have more time on my hands, but I also have to restrict it.
To be honest I'm a little relieved it isn't so busy cos moomie was an addiction for me which took up a lot of time I could've used for other things. Cos I used to refresh every 5 minutes to see what I could reply to. Don't get me wrong it was a lot of fun, but I'm a responsible parent now lol

And to the admins, I know it can be hard when people make these types of comments about the vibe, chattiness etc. But I think its just a process the forum is going through, and it wont stay like this forever. New members will join who are just as chatty as the old faithful and it will become a big part of their lives too.
Totally understand the demands you have with your expanding family.
