Hello Moomies,

I'm new here, so I thought I'd say hi and introduce myself...

My name is Tandi, I'm 27 years old, I work at OR Tambo International Airport as an Air Traffic Services Officer (taining to be an Air Traffic Controller), I live in Alberton with my husband. We've been married for 1 year and 1 month.

We found out yesterday that we are pregnant. I did an HPT and got a very definite positive, and I then went for bloods which confirmed the positive and shows that I am around the 6 week mark (so very early days).

I have made an appointment to see my GP tomorrow, just so that he can go through the blood test result with me and to have him refer me to a gynae. I'm looking for a gynae at the Clinton Clinic in Alberton, so if any of you have an recommendations that would be great too.

My husband and I haven't been actively TTC, but we haven't been taking any preventative measures either. We had decided that it would happen at the right time, in God's time...and here we are, expecting a little one in January next year. WOW!

A friend referred me to this site, saying what a geat forum it is.
