Natural birth @Mitchell's plain Melomed hospital?

are you maybe with samwumed? Because I know they hardly cover any hospitals.

I'm not sure who her gyne was, but she wasn't that happy with the experience, especially since she was at Kingsbury with her previous kids. Is your gyne pushing for a c-sec?

A natural birth is totally possible at a private hospital, I had one at CTMC.

With natural birth I actually mean not a c-section so if this is with pain medication or without doesn't really matter. Do you know which gyno your friend was with? She had a good experience there? I know about alnisa but our insurance won't give cover there otherwise that would be a great option, thanks for your info, appreciate it!

When you say 'totally natural birth' do you mean excluding epidural as well? A close friend of mine went to Melomed Gatesville and gave birth there with an epidural. Have you had a look at Al-Nisa in Crawford? I know a few women who gave birth there and they only had good things to say.

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with giving birth at Mitchell's plain melomed hospital? We have dr. David's and are trying to make a decision between a private midwife at Mowbray where if you need to have a c section you might end up waiting for a long time if your baby is not in distress, or a private hospital without midwife. I want to totally go for natural birth but is that really impossible in a private hospital in this country? We are very limited by our insurance and only have cover in certain hospitals because I know Vincent Palotti is one of the pro natural birth Hospitals but that is not an option for us. Would love to hear some thoughts on that!
