Advice needed please - Gynae and Louis Leipoldt

Hi! I have given birth at Louis Leipoldt and Durbanville Mediclinic, and I have found the Mediclinic staff for both excellent, very caring and helpful, and professional. You won't go wrong going to Louis Leipoldt. I don't know the gynae, as I used Dr Lood Labuschagne, but I'm sure you'll be in good hands.

Hi there! My neighbour was there and I asked her for some advice.
Dr van Rensburg was her gynea, and she says she was very happy with him. The staff and all the nurses are also very nice and helpful. When she was there with her 2nd baby, they were busy redoing the hospital, and even then it all went very smoothly and she was very comfortable. apparently the hospital looks beautiful now that its done, and she says the previous hospital they used couldnt even be compared to the service they received at Louis Leipoldt. Sounds to me like youre in good hands

I am new to this site but know that there are lots of moms out there who are more than willing to offer helpful advice

Hubby and i are wanting to extend our family this year (sooner rather than later) so im bound to have a million questions.

First things first: Has anyone been to Dr George van Rensburg at Louis Leipoldt? Is he good? I have been to Dr Dalla at Cape Gate Mediclinic previously and although she is excellent - ive now been made to understand that due to the medical aid package im on, i can only use Docs prescribed by the Scheme (hence my needing to change).

How is Louis Leipoldt as a facility? Has anyone had good or bad experiences that they are willing to share?

Becoming a mom is already an overwhelming feeling..,nevermind all these underlying questions that needs to be answered
