Yeah, definitely don't use iliadin for more than 5 days in a row. It lands up causing more mucous.

I don't know Coryx at all so can't comment on that, but if she seems to have a permanent post nasal drip then something you could try, which is safe for all ages, is Herbaforce Sinus & Post Nasal Drip remedy. It can be used chronically and is totally safe.

Illiadin can only be used up to 5days consecutively... thereafter you make the problem worse.

Best is to spray the nose with Salex (its a saline solution) and flush it out, then suck out excess snot with a Baby Vac or Nose Frieda...

Find out from doc if it is indeed a permanent post-nasal drip cos then you would need more meds of a chronic nature, as the post nasal drip needs to be treated first, and this will prevent the slime in her chest.

If slime is stubborn it is best to nebulise her with saline solution too... and if you want - i am sure they did it at physio too - add a quarter of a quarter ACC200 to 5mls saline and use 2.5mls of that solution in the morning and the other 2.5mls in the evening.

All the best...

My girls have been through the same and there's came down to asthma and allergies which are now being managed by asthma pumps and Avamys.

Would is be safe to give Coryx to my little girl even though the instructions does not suggest I do? She has slime in her airways that I just can't get rid of.
She had antibiotics & was for phisio as well.
They mentioned that it could be a sort of 'perminent' nasal drip? Said I should use the nose drops (Illiadin) once a day.

Any siggestions to get rid of the slime?
