Hi All,

I'm a first time mom to a 23 month old little girl. I've never really been on forums before (unless you consider Facebook a type of forum). I am married to a wonderful man and he has a 19 year old son who is studying Electrical Engineering at UCT (brainy like his dad)

We have 3 dogs, 3 chickens and a lovely veggie garden, that we all have our own ideas about how it should work - especially the dogs and chickens.

I was blessed with a very easy pregnancy and an amazing natural water birth. I struggled in the beginning with breastfeeding, but persevered and am currently still breastfeeding my little girl. We will stop when she is ready.

I look forward to learning a great deal from all the other people on the forum and maybe even helping out with some of my own knowledge and experiences.
