Hi Lilymaud

I basically just want to echo what Huggles said. My son has a similar mark in the same spot (a bit smaller though) ever since he was born. He's now 2.5 years and its still there, just less visible because his hair is a lot thicker and covers the area.

From the photo its hard to judge, but its definitely possible that its only birth mark and not something to worry about. A quick search on Google reminded me that our pediatrician mentioned something about an "angel kiss" (I see now its the same thing as a "stork bite") - quite a nice way to describe it. :)

also, the red patches seem to be "in place".. they do not spread or anything like that...

i'm just concerned a bit and itnerested to know if any of your babies have this...

Huggles, it's a new idea...yes...hmmm... we'll see, if it's a birth mark... whew...

Is the rash raised at all? Or is it just red dots on the skin? Does it bother her?

Are you sure it's not a birth mark? I have a red patch in a very similar area, as do my brothers and it's just a birth mark on us.

Try Oilatum Junior from Dischem... its a very rich aqueos cream. Not sure if that could be eczema... what products do you use to wash her body and hair?
