Hello Andie,

Thank you so much for the reply - it really helps. We also thought it was a male problem until my eggs were retrieve and endometriosis was discovered. My hubby was thrilled that he did in fact have swimmers ;-)

He says that our life has become about this pregnancy and I think it has got a bit much. He does have 2 kids of his own so it isn't the end of the world or not if we have a baby - so from that point of view I think we differ. I do however believe he would love to have a child with me.

I have scheduled a follow up with my doc for next Wednesday and see what he says but I think my hubby is keen for a break, don't know that I am - time is ticking :-(

Congrats on your positive you must be thrilled ;-)

Thank you so much!

Hi

I know how you feel. All the drama and suspense that goes along with infertility is sometimes just too much to bear and then throw IVF in the mix and all of just multiplies by a 1000%.

I also had to go the IVF route, although we had male factor problems. Our first attempt failed because we had no fertilization even though we did ICSI. So we were devastated. But we went right into the second round the very next month and got a positive this time around.

My fertility specialist explained to me that it takes an average of 3 attempts to get 1 positive result. Sometimes it takes 4 or 5, but in the end you will most likely get there. So my 2 cents for what it's worth... you still have 2 more frosties, give it one more shot and IF it doesn't work this time around, re-evaluate and re-assess your situation.

Why is your husband not on board?

hi,

I'm new to this site. On Thursday I got a negative pregnancy test after my second ivf attempted, first FET though. I am devastated, is it worthwhile going for a third try? We have 2 embies left but both in one straw. Dr discovered endometriosis when retrieving my eggs and suggested that was the main reason for the first failed attempt. I haven't been back to see him yet. Any suggestions as to whether I should go back or not? I'm very confused and my hubby and i are not on the same page at the moment with regards to the whole baby topic.

Help please
Xxxx
