Irish twin mom

I'm feeling more prepared for this irish twin thing every day , but today I feel like a hippo , I never knew a belly can grow this huge, my son was not even this big. Almost looks like I'm carrying an amazon here , and she still has a month of growing to do

its such an uncertain feeling, but i can guarantee the moment sissie is there, you will know exactly what to do. you will learn that your capacity is sooo much greater than you anticipate

my lb is 9 months and i found out 3 jan that i'm pregnant again - also a birth control fail.
my 2 will differ about 16 or 17 months.
now the big thing to me is i have to get ;b moved out of the cot and settled into a bed, before baba comes so that he doesn't think baba is taking his space. and i would really looove it if i can somehow get lb to sleep better at night before baba comes.
somehow, my biggest consern is how i am going to tackle nights with 2 babies, because my boy is an exceptional bad sleeper
i haven't yet gave daytimes much though, but taking it one day at a time wil be our saving grace.

Oh wow Suzyq, your post just gave me goosies! I know exactly what you mean. I've been joking saying my first born (also boy) is my favourite (I promise I don't mean it.ok maaaaaybe a bit ), but from what I hear and have seen, we WILL manage. I couldn't imagine either how I would "divide" my love with another baby in the mix, but I learnt we don't "divide" our love. Our hearts just grow BIGGGGGGER. The fact that you are already tripping about whether you'll neglect your boy shows that you WON'T

thanks for that beautiful message, its not that I'm unsure of the pregnancy, I am looking forward to holding my sweet baby girl in my arms, I always wanted to have a son first and then a girl, now my dreams are coming true, I'm apprehensive about the struggle ahead. My husband just started a new job, so he will not be able to take leave to help me for those first few weeks like planned, luckily my mother in law will be there to help out. I just really don't want to, not give my little boy enough attention when his sister is here, he is my light and I hope that I will be strong enough to still give him all the love and attention he so richly deserves.

I also joined today in hope of trying to make sense of things. my LO is 17mnts, a month after he turns 2 we welcome his sibling (thanks also to a birth control blunder and my hubby's super virility). We planned to have another maybe 2 years down the line, not right now. I'm STILL RECOVERING!!! I'm young, but not even sure whether I would cope. In search of trying to find any and all answers (before finding this here great site), I found something (it's attached), maybe you'll find some kind of strength and sanity in it. Not everything is applicable, but what I managed to take from it definitely made me feel better.
