Everything will be fine. Don't focus on that okay.... I promise you positivity will help you through this. I can't put myself in your shoes but I can tell you that no matter what happens you will be a mom one day! We all will! It's the fight we have to fight isn't it, this is part of our journey here on earth and it only makes us stronger. I compare myself to 2014 Hailey - not even the same in any way. I found strength I never knew I had and I am 100% sure you are a strong woman too. I'll be going for my second cycle at the end of April.

I'm planning on doing my 3rd IVf cycle. It's a frozen cycle. So i went for a scan and it showed i now have fibroids and an adenomyoma. (Head in my hands)... what next really. Gynea says i have to go for a lapscope query proceed open laparotomy....

@Aisha my cycle wasn't successful but if we are honest most first cycles and second cycles arent so I am trying to stay positive. Honestly I dont have a private clinic cycle to compare it to but it really wasn't bad at all. If you are at the stage of giving up ... PLEASE DONT.... just look for other options - like Tygerberg. If your outside of Cape Town the wait is a bit long I have waited almost 7 months for my next cycle but its worth it. When I got quotes here in Johannesburg I thought I was going to fall over - it is crazy expensive !

After I got my BFN I also felt quite horrid but it seems like so long ago to be honest and since I went for the IVF cycle my normal monthly cycle has improved. I was having weird cycles sometimes 19 days sometimes 31 and sometimes bleed and sometimes hardly. If anything my BFN cycle really put my body back on track.

@ Zainub - My treatment at Tygerberg was fine. I dont have a private clinic ICSI cycle to compare it to but the staff are sweet and the service is good. Remember that these things take time and that it may not work the first time but that doesn't mean its not going to work. I've been there and done that and lived to tell the tale so it can't be that bad right?

I hope you ladies are doing well. I wanted to find out more about the Tygerberg fertility. They have forwarded me some information ... now I need to send them all required documents. I did three rounds of femara last year taking ovitrille shots in each cycle , all proved to be bfn as over and above pcos I now have a uterus lining which is too thin. I don't feel ready for this emotional rollercoaster yet as I had lots of side effects on the meds that I had to take for thickening of the lining. Anyone been to tygerberg? What is their procedure like?
