Fertomid and ovulation

Thanks everyone for the comments! I think I should just relax a bit. I really was freaking out about it this cycle.

Will just ride it out and am supposed to go back to gynae after 6th cycle, so holding thumbs!!

I was on 4x rounds of Fertomid 50mg which only made me ovulate once. I had a Progesterone test done on CD23 of each cycle to monitor ovulation. I took my pills on CD4 to CD8 and my fertile window was CD13 till CD18 with ovulation on CD14/15

Last month I tried the Fertomid 100mg and if that didn't work I was seeing a Fertility Specialist on the 10th Sept. My Progesterone level was excellent so had a strong ovulation but I did not get my BFP. This month was my un medicated cycle and I got my BFP.

On all my cycles on Fertomid I had much more ovulation cramps, night sweats etc but I ovulated the same time each cycle. On my un medicated cycle I ovulated a few days later than normal. But everyone is different and responds to the pills differently.

I was on Clomid (same as Fertomid) for 4 cycles. I start with the 1st tablet on the 3rd day of my cycle until day 7, then from day 10 we had to use OPK’s to confirm, ovulation. Dr said it all normal depends on your body and how well it works with the tablets. I only ovulated by on the 2nd cycle. I was late because usually you ovulate on day 14 – 16. I never used to get any discomfort when ovulating, however I did see a increase in CM it was more sticky and I felt more sexy

1st cycle I didn’t ovulate
2nd cycle I ovulated, but was too stupid on how to track my ovulation
3rd cycle I have ovulated, I ovulated on day 19 Dr took bloods but eggs were not big enough
4th cycle we monitored it very closely, I used opk’s from day 10 and got a confirmed ovulation on day 16

I was on Fertomid for a few cycles, and one month my ovulation was later than usual. I think it depends on which day you start taking your fertomid. My doctor prescribed it from CD2-CD6, then I ovulated around CD14. One month I started on CD5 and only ovulated on CD19.

You are welcome to join the group - trying for a 2016 baby. There is some ladies on there that is/has also been on Fertomid and they might also give their opinions. It is also a great group if you are trying to conceive and need someone to talk to.

Hi everyone...

I am currently on my 4th pack of Fertomid as prescribed by gynae. I ovulated on day 6 only.

I did a bloodtest after the first pack and it confirmed that I do ovulate around about day 14.

Every month I did notice around ovulation that I am getting a pain on my right abdomin, which I know is ovulation pains.

However, this month its already day 18, feeling a little bit of pain and Im not sure whether I already ovulated or whether its just a bit late this month.

Is it normal for ovulation to be a bit later than the other 3 monthswhile on Fertomid?
