fertility issues

Dr Pottow started at Medfem this year and we have not heard anything from/about her but I am sure she will be great. They have excellent staff at Medfem. We are due for another visit soon. Have a wonderful weekend.

Yes I've heard of medfem, my friend was with Dr pottow she really liked her and suggested I try her, do you know/ heard anything about her?

My gynae has referred me to a fs, I was just not happy with the initial consultations he suggested I go straight to ivf . I also have alot of cysts gynae says I have polycystic ovaries my follicles don't develop at the right stages in the last year I've had 2 positive ovulation test

Aww that really sucks. Have you tried inofolic acid? I was reading about it and then when I saw my doctor she also said I should drink it. What I have read it said it's great for women with PCOS. Dischem has the best price on this as it is a bit on the expensive side. I'm also in Roodepoort

Hi

I'm not seeing a FS but my gynecologist is amazing. My baby boy was stillborn in November 16 at 38 weeks. I decided immediately that I wanted to become pregnant again, but suddenly is was not happening. With my son is happened on the second cycle of TTC. My periods was suddenly irregular which was also weird for me because i have always been like clock work and OPK all kept coming back negative, so I just knew something was off. So at my six month PP check up I go and see her for the first time. She did a sonar and immediately picked up that I had cysts on both my ovaries. She said this was due to me being to stressed about the whole thing, so she said she wanted to put me on contraceptives and if the cysts cleared she will put me on clomid (I was thinking about that prior to my meeting but thought I would have to fight for it). So I went on contraceptives for 2 cycles and I just finish with it on Tuesday. I also saw her on Tuesday and she is happy with my ovaries so now AF has to come and then I start with the clomid next week.

Im not sure if she will be the kind of doctor that you are looking for but she is amazing because she reads you and your needs. I saw her twice and every time I wanted to ask her about something she did/said it before I could even mention it. It feels like she reads your mind.
