I'm Dakota, from Randburg Joburg. I really want to have kids soon, I'm not getting any younger at 33 in June but there just always seems to be a 'thing' to do first... Pay off the car, buy a house, pay off the house, get married etc.
Honestly, I know it will be easier to not have debt but that's not realistic, there will always be 'something' that needs to be done first and I don't want to wait and find out that I was too late or risk complications. I know many, many moms have babies later in life but that doesn't stop me from worrying.
So what I am asking is can you leave your words of wisdom regarding what you found a surprise or difficult and maybe things to consider before embarking on this adventure. Financially what should I be looking at? pregnancy? Postpartum? I have zero ideas about any aspect of kids.
