I have stage 4 endo diagnosed about 12 years ago, ttc since Feb 2017. I just had my 4th laparoscopy Jan 2018.
Following the lap the doctor said we have 6 - 12 months to fall pregnant otherwise the endo will just grow back and would probably require another lap.

Same as you had a few medicated cycles and ovitrelle, developed healthy eggs and ovulation happened but still no pregnancy. Have an appointment for IVF this Friday and hoping to proceed asap.

On the 02 April 2018 I have a follow up appointment with the endo specialist Dr Abri De Bruin that will give me more info regarding surgery provided i have stopped smoking... My first appointment was a scary one examined me and found that the endo is really deep and a lot and has to be removed by cutting it out. There are some risks involved but by the sounds of it and most of the time all goes well... there is like a 0.05 percent chance that anything goes wrong.

I am confident and ready to get this show on the road because i so badly want to have a little family of my own. its been a stressful, depressing kind lonely road because DH seems to think that I shouldnt worry about anything and let it all be. He is supportive but feels that i shouldnt cry over spilt milk you know because whats meant to be will be.

If any of you have been for endometriosis surgery or was a patient of Dr de bruin at Kloof hospital i would appreciate some information please.

I unfortunately don't have experience with endometriosis but join out ttc 2018 group. There are a wonderful group of ladies who support each other and share their experiences together. Hope to see yo u there as well.

Hi ladies,

This is my first ever pregnancy via IVF. I am 33 years and been trying to conceive for 2.5 years. I have stage 4 deep infiltrating recto-vaginal endometriosis, Hashimotos and MTFHR gene mutation. My first IVF failed and this was my last frozen embryo that was transferred so we are extremely excited but cautious!! I'm currently only 5 weeks pregnant and eagerly awaiting my 6 weeks scan.

I look forward to getting to know all of you and I am sure I will have a ton of questions!!
