Question: Do all comments appear on the 'recent discussions' no matter where it took place?

Sidebar: I recently enrolled my son on a fishing forum (too long a story to explain) - and the first thing to activate your membership was we had to go to an 'introduce yourself' thread and answer 5 arb questions i.e who you are, where you livem and so on.

You also could not start a thread until you had posted a minimum of 10 comments, and I thought that was quite a good 'control' mechanism.
