Gynaes are such a personal thing - I know people who have hated ones that others loved, so its hard to say.

I have a few friends who go to Dr Coetzee at Unhlanga who are happy with him...I think he may be a fertility specialist as well, but stand corrected?

I only otherwise know docs in durban and south coast?

Hi there OTH
I'm in Cape Town, and saw a lovely gynae - my appointments were R450 each and included a scan each and every time. She was ALWAYS late, but when it was your turn she didn't rush you, and gave you all the time and attention she needed.
I'm really hoping that some of the Durbs based ladies can make some good suggestions. It's SO important to be with a gynae you trust and like.

hullo again. Can anyone recommend a good, user friendly gynae in the areas for umhlanga to ballito, as well as letting me know what their fee is? All advice will be greatly appreciated. What is a reasonable consultation fee to you? The highest that a gynae office gave me thus far is R1500. Lowest R450. At the end of the day tho' i'm looking for good service. Thanks
