This is delayed and, no this hasn't happened to me (I'm only expecting my first), but as a pharmacist I can tell you that with Microval as a PoP (Progesterone only pill) you do have to take it at the same time every single day. As other have suggested, try to set an alarm and make sure you take it. There's a very short window period, something like 3 hours of variance between your daily intake.

well, to answer your question in short, yes it will be easy to fall pregnant if you miss a pill here and there.
i do recommend that you set an alarm, and take it immediately when the alarm goes off before you forget.

Hi everyone Thanks for answering. For some reason I missed the replies and silly of me I started another topic.
I am asking what the chances are of faling pregnant because I have occasionally missed the odd pill-two young boys and being self-employed will do that to you! I am still on microval because i get migraines and it seems to be working for me. I wanted to know if anyone got pregnant because of a missed pill during the time thwy would normally ovulate?! I have been fine so far but my friends are making me a bit paranoid telling me how easy it can happen

Also got pregnant whilst on supposed to be on microval, but I must be honest, we made the classic mistake to think breastfeeding will also serve as some form of contraceptive, even though we knew it is not foolproof.

In addition to that, when you have a baby, days tend to blend into each other and for the life of me I cannot remember whether I have taken the pill each day, in fact I know there were days were I missed it.

So, I cannot really blame microval, but can just caution that if you are taking it, set an alarm for the same time everyday and take it there and then, no delaying! Unless you are happy to have a little surpise Apparantly, women are more fertile soon after childbirth
