anyone have a surprise pregnacy on microval

Ohhhhh.....ladies....I think I am going to book my husband for a vasectomy right after the birth of my second child, although I was planning to use breastfeeding and Microval/Melodene as precautions. Not anymore!

o and my gynie told me that with microval only after 7 days of taking it are you safe. so if you missed a pill, just be carefull for the following few days

i took it more or less perfectly. might have missed one here and there.

i only had 4 periods since baby was born and now were near a proper regular cycle, didnt have a period now for a very long time, think my last period was about 4 months ago

hehe, a bit of an embarrasing story - on saturday i vomited all over a parking lot, so I immediately bought a test, cause i didnt eat anything funny the day before. got BFP and then bloodwork showed very high HCG score, so i might already be 8 weeks along

but i also heard very recently that with microval you have to take it at the exact time every day for it to work properly. and i didnt know that (before TTC i used Melodine and that was not the case, as long as i took one every day it was workin 100%)

Stella - Did you take microval "perfectly" or miss a pill? Did you have a period after baby yet? Why did you expect you are pregnant?

I'm asking because I missed 2 pills, and so scared I am in for a surprise

hehehe. i got the surprise BFP on saturday while breastfeeding and on microval. no idea how far i'm now, but i think somewhere between 6-8 weeks already bloodwork showed very high HCG score
my lb is nou 9 months, so they will be very close together

Not me, but 2 of the ladies that I engage with on this and another forum has received the good news in the last 2 weeks whilst on Microval. I think if you are taking it, just visit your gynae regularly for him / her to take a sonar and see if your ovaries are "working" or not.
