Yes, we have a polo and we have to remove the front wheels in order for it to fit in the boot. It's quick and easy to do so though!

Happy to do seat belts. They are quick to do so base never been an issue.

Bulky to travel with? Like in car?

I have this travel system. I really love it although it is quite bulky to travel with. I've only used the car seat and carry cot fixtures so far as my son is only 11 weeks old. Just a note, the car seat doesn't have a base so you have to set it up with seat belts everytime.
Other than that, it's great! Very easy to push (nice wheels) and also love the look of it. Hope this helps!
