Can you remove the fabric from the cot and give it a wash? If not, vinegar is very effective to kill mould and remove smells. You could try rubbing some vinegar into the cot's fabric with a dish cloth and then letting it dry properly outside. Not sure if this is 100% foolproof, but I'd give it a shot before buying a new cot!

Hi mommies I am really in need of your advice hear,so i bought a graco pack and play camping cot with a bassinet three years ago for my son and when he was done with it we disassembled it and stored it. I’m now 32 weeks and decided that it was time to have the cot washed and cleaned up for baby no.2.i discovered that where i had stored the cot there is mold, although the mold itself is not on the fabric but it smells musty. I know how mold is more dangerous to babies and wanted to find out if there is a way of cleaning it or should i just buy a new cot which would be a bit of a strain on my finances. Thanks
