Baby refusing the bottel :(

my lb also didnt want to take a bottle from me at all, but anyone else he would drink out of a bottle only if i was nowhere to be seen.
i also tried alot of different bottles and tiets and found the Nuby one he liked. after getting used to it a bit i could give him a water bottle, but not a milk one.

another thing that can also play a part, some babies do not want expressed milk out of a bottle at all, but will drink other fluids from a bottle - happened to 2 friends of mine.

you can also try a sippy cup and skip the bottle completely

I suggest you have hubby or another caretaker give the bottle and you leave the house, even if it is just to take a walk around the block. My eldest only took a bottle from me until I completely stopped breastfeeding. She did however from the first try took a bottle from hubby and her daymother, provided I was not around. Seems they can "sniff you out".

What type of bottle are you using?

Hi Ladies

I am currently still breastfeeding and really struggling to get my 5 and a half month old on a bottle. He used to take one occasionally when he was younger, but now flat out refuses it.

I have tried different staged teats as well as different teats.
He doesnt even attempt to suck on it - just chews it and plays around with it in his mouth.

Any tricks that other mommies have tried?
