I had to go back to work when my son was only 2.5 months old. I live in a small town so getting feedback on the creche I had chosen was easy. He was there for over two years before moving to a "baby big school". It did wonders for his social skills and gave him a great learning kick start. It also allowed him to engage in extras such as group Monkeynastic activities.
Its scary to put your child in the care of someone else but unless you are financially capable of being a stay at home mom, you don't have a choice. Here in SA our "nannies" are usually black south africans and their ideas of raising children are very different so I suppose a home based nanny could work for you. I would personally choose a Daycare where you can liaise with Moms that already have their kids there and can give you their opinions on pros and cons.

Hope this helps a bit

Hello all,
I have 2 kids Krystal and Deborah. Krystal is 1 years old and Deborah is 5 years old. Me and my husband are working. My sister was staying in my home all these days and she was taking care of my kids when we are out to work. But now she's going for her higher studies , so she'll be leaving the town next week. My sister suggested me Professional nanny services Calgary (www.diamondpersonnel.com/about-us/canadas-best-nanny-agency/). But I don't have much familiarity with them. So I would like to get opinions from you about them. Shall I rely on them?? I don't know whether leaving my kid with a nanny in this small age is a good option. But I don't have any other solution. If you had the same situation, please let me know how you cope up with the situation.
