Hey martial arts mommas... Grading for my blue belt on tuesday!!! God Willing will get it!

Back at class yay after 0 training in ramadaan and a week of flu!

Teaching my daughter some jui jitsu.... problem is she tries on her male cousins and her female cousins scared of her...

Do any of your kids pick up ur skills? Or are u actively teaching them?

I am used to it, i did instruct for years on a part time basis and then when I had my black belt, i did instruct

if its in your blood, you wont have a problem

its worrying about other kids or people that are responsible

Sher- that would be awesome, but instructing is a lot of responsibility!

if i had the time, i would def love to keep going or better still i did some instructing

so i think i would like to open up my own dojo and instruct again

just with baby, i just dont have time even for myself to go to gym

Wow sher... Respect- osu! Wouldve loved to have started wen younger but everything has its time... I totally agree on its importance. Both kids will def do martial arts too. Wont force them to go all way to black belt, but def must do enough of it to defend themselves. Would you ever go back? Or try some other form

I did martial arts - not anymore though ...

i used to do karate, judo and kick boxing ..

I have my black belt ..when i was like in my early 20's...trained since i was like 8 years old ...

entered numerous championships and won alot.... all my medals still at my parents house

my black belt grading was hard.... i could not walk the next day and we had to fight a SA boxer .... eish remember it like it was yesterday

my baby girl is def gonna do karate, in SA we need to defend ourselves and it teaches you self discipline

I was robbed once and had to defend myself.... so it comes in very handy....
