That would be awesome - basic ballet / dance steps combined with body conditioning and stretching! not too technical and advanced.
I would do that class.

Where about do you stay? unfortunately there arent many adult classes out there.
Miss Broder in Edgemead used to have classes, not sure if she does anymore though. They were a bit advanced - she taught a mix of the advanced foundation and advanced 1 syllabus.

I attend classes, but not an adult class. I dance with teenagers doing their vocational exams, coz i need to stay up at that level for my studies.

I was actually chatting to a friend about it this weekend. If I taught an adult class I could probably add a bit of body conditioning as well. Some stretch and strength, as most moms would probably want to dance for fitness.

You mentioned ballet in one of your previous posts. So I thought perhaps you did adult ballet classes.
Understand that Julz was asking about irish dancing.
I would be interested - I know that UCT ballet school offers it, but too far to travel to.
Ballet has always been good for posture and strength training.
Put out feelers and see.

Hi Julz,

Irish classes are in edgemead, so nice and close. Classes are on Tuesdays 6:30- 7:30pm, and/or Saturdays 8:30-9:30pm. All age groups and all levels.
There are quite a few adults in the class. Its great exercise!
