Poor Appetite

Hey AM..

Here you are thinking Miss K is under eating while I am the opposite with the same feeds besides having a bottle or two extra of formula???

I once asked on the forum whether she should be woken up for the 3rd feed in the evening and the ladies said no as two feeds are more than enough for their age. B is 5months now.

I guess as Yaz said, if its a sudden change then it would need to be checked out if not, leave her... Who forces you to eat when full huh??

what makes you think your little girl should be eating more? Is she not gaining weight? My baba (4 months) is also not the biggest of eaters but I suppose as long as they are gaining it should be fine. As you said, force feeding is not an option as they scream blue murder and it will only result in vomitting later.

Has she always been like this or only recently? If so, then I'd maybe take her to the doc just to exclude illness. If you can't figure it out then it might just be the mother of all baby niggles: the bloody teeth!?

My LG of 6 months has a very poor appetite she drinks on avg about 3 bottles of formula(120mls X 3) and then has some breast milk from me when I get home. She will also have cereal in the morning, then 2 purity\cooked veggies during the day! I dont think this enough for as I feel she should be drinking and eating more! I dont want to force her to eat as she screams the house down, anyone have tips on how to increase her appetite
