Missy, you only get Steri-milk in the Eastern Cape. Maybe ask your clinic sister.

Can I ask if its ok to add full cream milk to cereal for my Nathan - 7 months now. Been on solids about 3 weeks and up to 3 meals a day with snacks (fruit, biscuit, sisters food etc in-between). I tried from 5 months to get him to take solids but he wasnt ready, he was 7 weeks prem. He is exclusively breastfed, never had a drop of formula, in hospital was tube fed until he could nurse. I add water to his cereal because I hate expressing and cant see myself expressing for another 6 months until a year! I dont like the cereal that says only add water, its basically formula ceral then.

What is Steri milk?

at 1 year Shane was on 2x 200ml bottles of Nan3. I then switched the night bottle to full cream milk, the morning bottle is still Nan3. No problems. He is a good eater so I'm thinking of dropping the Nan3 completely soon.

With Daniel I gave him full cream milk in his cereal from 6 months, he was breastfed, so no buying formulas. Then I had him on full cream from a year. With Nathan, he was a bad eater so he was on formula till 13 months. Now he is on full cream. My feeling is, if baby eats well and gaining well, then full cream is fine. If they dont have a great appetite, formula can help.
